Had a meeting with my boss yesterday.
Asked for a raise. Haven’t had one since I started years ago.
She said I don’t add enough “value” to the company to warrant a raise…
So that feels great. Due to inflation, I am having a hard time affording my basic needs (my rent is half my paycheck), but “inflation doesn’t matter in our business.”
Wonder if she’d be interested in learning I have to sublease my apartment and live in my car now.
