One of our guys got a speeding ticket over the weekend. Our job relies on us being able to drive. Today our boss said that if we get a speeding ticket, on or off work, that the company would fine us $100 for the first ticket, $200 for the second ticket, $300 for the third, and after that we’d be fired. I’m pretty sure it takes like 6 speeding tickets to risk losing your license so I don’t understand the big deal anyways but there’s no way this is legal right? I’m trying to find the actual law that says that’s illegal. I’m Colorado for context.
