Boss says my phone is responsible for my mistakes at work because it’s a “distraction”

Ok first of all, I'm not an employee, I am not paid hourly, and what I do during work hours is none of his concern as long as I get my work done. Secondly, the only distraction going on around here is him, the boss himself, calling EVERY FIVE MINUTES. Damn, dude, we're working on the last thing you wanted, give me a chance to finish it before you call with another order. I'm beyond sick of hearing the phone ring. Thirdly, I gave up my side business so the only calls and texts I get at work are from subs, suppliers, and customers. Every once in a blue moon my mom might text me for something. So yeah it might be distracting to hear it go off, but guess what? It's for work purposes. Fourth, the mistakes I make at work are due to lack of training, lack of…

Fourth, the mistakes I make at work are due to lack of training, lack of time allowed to actually do the work and double check my numbers, and the constant nagging once I've been told to do something. Of course I make mistakes, I'm only human and sleep deprivation causes memory issues. But it shouldnt be the world's biggest crime just because I forget to change a label on a fucking spreadsheet.

This place is ridiculous. He took me off payroll and put me on self employment status, but yet still insists on treating me like an employee. He demands that I be here from 8-4, he demands that I do not leave my office except for occasional bathroom breaks (which are taken in a building several minutes' walk away from my office, because none of the closer toilets to my office actually work) and I still get yelled at every time I have to pee. He polices my bathroom time, my food breaks, my personal phone usage, and any time i spend outside the office during work hours. He once called and yelled at me for checking the company PO box during work hours. What… I dont even know. If I'm a subcontractor, then my time spent on work vs bathroom vs lunch vs errands vs whatever is none of his business. As long as the work gets done, the rest is my business. My head hurts. This micromanagement is killing my soul.
