So, I recently started to work for an Autozone. I was really excited because my boss/store manager hyped it up and told me I'll be a manager off the bat. I was working for a crappy restaurant so naturally getting more money and hours peaked my interest. Today, he pulled me to the side and told me pur hours are based off of sales. Which is totally understandable. But he told me I'm not making enough in sales, that's why my hours are going down and we're hiring more people even though I feel like we're being overstaffed. He told me if I want to keep living my “comfy” life, I need to step up and make more sales. I literally have no where else to go if I can't afford my apartment, I'll be our on the streets and this fact scares the shit our of me. I just feel sick, I looked up to this guy and now my hours and my life are in jeopardy…I only been here for 2 weeks, I show up, I've already covered people. I'm doing the best I can and it's never enough. Someone just kill me.
