Boss trying to ban our foosball league

Hey folks! So, me and my coworkers started a foosball league at our office around half a year ago. This has drastically improved our work morale (especially since I wanted to leave due to unrelated reasons that I won't go into, but I basically hated my job and the morale at work). By creating this fun competition, I've gotten to meet a lot of new friends that I've been working with for couple of years, but haven't interacted with before we created our league.

This started off as just 3 co-workers that created a foosball league in a platform, but more and more coworkers joined our league which created a great workplace atmosphere, and I actually started to get excited to go to work.

This is btw. not like we're just playing all of the time. But when we have time off, which I usually spent just by browsing social media, we rather engage in fun activity by playing foosball.
Other co-workers have created other leagues in other activities which I love (since I feel like I'm a part of this great work morale).

But sadly, my boss feels like this comes down on work. In my opinion, this is improving work, since I feel refreshed after playing in my time-off and getting back to work.
This actually makes me furious that he only sees the bad side of it, and I'm 100% certain that I'll quit if he decides to pull the plug!

I decided to post here, since I want an honest feedback of if I'm being overly dramatic or if my boss is the jerk.
