Boss was talking shit about my work two metres from my station

So I'm in my second week at a new job and the big boss and the supervisor are disparaging my work like two metres from where I'm working – saying he's not going fast enough, not organised enough. They were speaking to each other, not me, and I wasn't even certain they were talking about me until I spoke to the supervisor later and asked if they were happy with my work, where they confirmed they want my speed to increase. This is fucked right? Like I have zero issue with that feedback itself if it's given directly in the form of a conversation with me but making disparaging indirect comments in my general area is super different to that. Feels closer to bullying than management. How should I stand up to this?
