I have a question where you would like a vision, would you like to think along? My manager and program manager promised me several times that I would get the job at +1 higher level and that it matches my profile and skillset. Told them I would then cancel another job (also +1 level, similar job), went into 2nd round. No sooner said than done and I was allowed to start immediately, 4 weeks ago, the vacancy would be opened especially for me, among other things. Ee would be 3 spots, 1 for me anyway. In recent days, I had a conversation, rejected and informed by the manager who was not present at the conversation because the conversation partners (my direct colleagues, including the program manager) found it uncomfortable. I've reflected on the whole thing and the weeks before the vacancy was opened and conclude that I'm just screwed. Emailed them all 3 over the weekend. Firmly told the truth and indicated that I will not make it an official dispute unless they make it even more sour for me. Said I wanted to transfer things immediately since I'm not a match. And want to be left alone. The manager of course doesn't pull this and rambles on and wants to speak to me. Just talked to him and he's mostly gaslighting, trying to guilt trip me and trying again to throw it all on the job interview and that things might be handled ‘clumsy’.
