He is paying me a great base salary. I am also supposed to get comiissions from sales made, but due to business not doing well, so far I got like $5. lol
I offered him to dive into different parts of this business, ask questions to people who he reports to and etc. He all the time rejected this idea. In the end even telling me pretty harshly, that I am wasting my time and I should concentrate on thinking how to improve what I am doing, rather than pointing fingers outside.
Despite of his ignorance, I still did the research and found out that based on what(just words of his business partner, no facts, no confirmation) he invested into this business, turns out to be a lie. That all the promises that were made to him were due to “previous experience”, which has actually never happened. And this man, didn't even think to double check it, before diving down into it.
So, I am not sure, should I tell him? I am afraid of that if I do and he realizes that he was lied to, he might wrap up the whole thing and my easy base salary journey will be over.
If I don't, I feel bad for him – because overall I am still thankful to him for giving me this opportunity, but angry for him being ignorant and not listening to outside opinion, of person(me) who is more experienced and actually more smart than him.
