I am a work from home employee. My employer is requesting that we (CA employees) fill out a wage and hour attestation dating back to the beginning of the year. This attestation was implemented in August of this year as far as we know.
This attestation basically states we were given our allotted paid and unpaid breaks and did not work during them. I can’t really find much on this but it feels iffy to expect us to fill this out backdated and I know they’re just trying to cover their asses. Anyone heard of this or have any insight?
