Called out sick due to throwing up and also spitting shit out the other end the entire day, and I was given a call later about how it was disrespectful to call out. They’re requiring me to get a drs appointment and a drs note or I get a write up. (I can’t even get into the Dr till this Thursday and I’m not even sick anymore???)
For context, I’m a trainer. If I had went to work that day I would have spent most of my sessions in the bathroom and my clients would’ve been left with nobody to coach them. Also it was ONE day… why is it such a huge deal?? Anyways I came back into work today and saw this note on my computer that was obviously about me. Just the fact it’s calling my calling out sick a low “level of respect” that affects my boss and the entire club… it baffles me. Sorry my immune system is disrespectful.
