Calling your employer your “Boss”

Can I rage on your behalve? Because you fucking should. I know we have been taught to call our employers “boss” and you might think hey it’s just a word right, pretty innocent. Well it fucking isn’t. It’s fucking embarrassing that a grown ass person calls someone their boss. Do you understand what you are saying and doing? You are literally reminding yourself and everyone around you that the person who employs you stands above you. I think it’s a good start to never call your employer your “boss” again and take back that power. The words we use have a great impact on our subconscious and the way we see ourselves. The word boss is derived from the word master. Just a reminder. Know your worth. There are millions of employers out there desperate for your time and skills. The prospect of having no money and thus no safety/comfort…

Know your worth. There are millions of employers out there desperate for your time and skills. The prospect of having no money and thus no safety/comfort is scary but don’t let anyone ever abuse that fear and make you think you are dependent.

The only time you should call someone else your boss is when it’s in a sexual manner and everyone involved consents obviously. Then I even recommend it.
