Can I be fired after applying for FMLA?

To keep a long story short I was a number one employee for my WFH company, received multiple awards and reviews stating my performance is always where it needs to be with no corrections to my work. I have recently struggled with my mental health and switching a long term antidepressant so while my productivity was not affected they are citing concerns for my “downtime”. I went from a raise and never having an issue to being accused of time theft. After a rough meeting with a lot of questions I ended up applying for FMLA, management referred me to HR and are investigating my time. At this point I just want to know if I am protected, I have multiple interviews lined up in case but if I can keep my job I'd love too purely based on my hours for work right now, nothing else is keeping me…
