First time posting. Apologies where applicable lol
I have a history of migraines that occasionally cause me to miss work. My company is aware of this. I am medicated and take steps to treat them.
Recently, I had a bad case of COVID which took me out of work for a week and a bit. (We have 4 day work weeks.) Obviously I don't get paid when I am sick. I've used up all my sick pay with my migraines. So when I had COVID I had no income. It sucked. Anyway, I got back to work the week after and was still feeling crummy. Then I got an upper respiratory infection which took me out of work again. (Still with no sick pay.) I heard from one of my coworkers that I'm considered being let go. Though I can't help that I'm sick. I don't know whether or not to be worried about this. I'm still stressed cuz I'm sick and barely breathing. Now on top of all that I might lose my job too?? Is that allowed? There are no jobs around me and Ive already given so much to this company! I can't imagine having to job search again.
Please someone tell me I'm being irrational.
