My company was recently acquired by a global network. Last week, we completed a full IT changeover of our systems and hardware (laptops).
The new ownership feels way more rigid and old school. I no longer have admin privileges on any systems, we can only download approved apps and stupid things like email signatures are centrally managed (I can't even add a sign off, I have to write it every single time).
This feels like the type of ownership that wouldn't think twice about adding some employee monitoring. Is there a way I can check? Considering I'm now back to “cog level”, would I even be able to find it?
