My and my fiancé both work as EMTs, recently engaged we were talking about taking our vacation for our honeymoon come late May. Boss got word of it and cashed out my and my fiancé vacation without us asking him to or telling us.
So I’ve worked all year and now I can’t take a vacation. When first confronted he insisted I took vacation already and when I told him to tell me when cause I pretty much live here he turned around and said “your last check was small. Since your full time and I had to stay within budget I had to cash it out”
Can anyone advise whether this is even legal?
