Can my employer legally schedule me for less than my agreed minimum hours? (NZ)

So I noticed on my schedule that I was put in for three shifts next week that are 6am to 10am, I thought that was odd considering that my agreed min hours are 30 and optimally 40. I'm unsure whether I am considered a part-time worker or not but I'm effectively full-time, can my boss legally do this? Based in NZ as stated in the title and looking for help on what I should do, I've contacted my boss basically saying “What gives” (in more professional terms).
