My job rounds the time to the “nearest“ 15 so 00:00, 00:15, 00:30, and 00:45. But now that I’m paying more attention to my punch ins I’m noticing it always rounds down to the lower 15. from my lunch to when I left work it was 2 hours and 12 minutes and idk like 25 second but it rounded to just 2 hours and so I could have accumulated hours of work I’m not paid for and I don’t know if this is legal.
I know companies can round to the nearest but can they always round to the lowest?
I never worked anywhere that rounded time before
