Can my new job force me to cancel pre planned vacations?

I’m going to be starting at a corporate company soon and I get a total of 24 days off (15 vacation, 6 personal, 3 sick). It’s a National company and I will be working in Georgia, USA. The time off is accumulated over the year and isn’t available as soon as I start. Before even applying to this job, I had 2 international trips planned with family totaling to about 3.5 weeks. I have not been officially hired yet, but that process should be happening within the week. When I am hired, do I need to cut down the trips to fit within that timeframe they give me, or will the company have to honor the preexisting trips? If I’m forced to cancel because of them, will they have to pay me back for travel expenses? The tickets are non refundable and over $1200 for each trip. I haven’t had…
