So I had to go back into work today after having minor surgery yesterday. I was really frustrated by my customers telling me I need to go home and rest. Yeah I don't get to do that after having to pay $250 to get my cyst drained. $240 for an appointment with a surgeon to get it removed. $360 to pay the surgeon to remove it. $980 to pay the hospital to remove it. And $366 due March 31st to pay for my health insurance for April. I don't get to stay home and recover. I'm an American.
Edit: Hopefully my follow up appointment is under $100 to have the stitches removed since I hit my deductible. Again how am I supposed to stay home and recover? I won't have a home to recover in if I don't work. And I'm lucky. If I didn't sign up for Obamacare the hospital bill alone would have been $25k. But if course I had to sign up for Obamacare. My life saving blood thinner is $1700 for three months without insurance but $10 for three months with insurance plus the manufacturers coupon.
