Can you collect unemployment if your employer doesn’t want to follow your medical restrictions?

(New York State) I'm willing, capable, and able to work. My employer does not want to accommodate my disability so they keep denying me the accommodation. I applied for FMLA shortly after the last denial of my accommodation request because it's my only way (at this point) to accommodate my condition and protect my job. I can't force my employer to accommodate me. I have documented proof emails and recordings. They keep saying my request ( a stool) is unreasonable. I asked them (on record) what is reasonable and she replied “I can't tell you that”. I'm able to work but my employer doesn't want to accommodate her so I can continue working. Do you think I will qualify for UI until I find other work? I haven't quit my job and don't want to but I think my employer wants me to quit. Edit: some typos of “her”.…
