Who's company dictates how and when you can take leave?
I single handedly saved this (Cellphone Repairs Company HiCell) from failing. We have been at a constant loss since I started working here. I work 8:30 till 5 every day, 6 days a week and I make $5000 a year.
We put in the extra hours for no other reason that we are told to. No one keeps track of overtime. We've been promised incentives since I started here a 12 months ago. We don't get incentives and we work overtime.
I asked if I could take off at the end of June. And they told me no, because my supervisor quit….
Who the f@k cares if people leave or the business does shit? I deserve my damn off days that I work overtime for. I also work on public holidays when staff is short (Which is always). People come and go and I'm always picking up after them. I'm glad they got better jobs though. I just work too much to find a different job.
How many people want me to quit? I'll write my resignation and post it at the end of the week.
And all I wanted was 2 days off…
