Just a rant. My company is laying off folks, left and right. Low on the ladder, midway up, everywhere except the top. Plus they are probably a few months from downsizing all offices in high cost of living areas (which includes me) and let those in the lower cost of living areas pick up the slack. It’s so disheartening to know there’s zero loyalty and at the end of the day, business is business (read: money is most important). Fuck you capitalism.
