I'm quitting my job without notice, and it's bothering me more than I hoped. My current job is a grueling 12 hour night shifts, I have only been at this job for a month, the place is chaotic, I have only been trained about 30% of my job and cannot do large portions of my work.
I have been offered and accepted a career opportunity with a State Agency protecting the welfare of at risk individuals. This position pays $7/Hour more than my current job, has better hours, and has superb benefits. Not to mention, I get to use my college degree as opposed to not using it in my current position.
Why do I feel like I owe so much to a company that I barely have worked for and has been a turbulent month?
