I have been at my store for 5.5 years I am the main day person. For the last two years I have been full time, working the hours of 7am-3pm on average. My job is currently threatening to change my schedule to 11am-7pm, and have someone else who is already overworked take over my normal morning activities.
I don't think I'm able to quit my job. I am a sponsor for my wife to immigrate to me in Ontario, Canada. Until we receive our AOR, I don't have a case file to send to update my work status.
Is it legal to change my hours so drastically? Working those hours means I won't be able to see my wife at all throughout the week, which would really suck. This job does say evening and weekends availability is required, but this is a lot.
