My work culture is at the least tolerable and there’s usually not much I can complain about except this colleague who gets my blood boiling with her incessant chattering. She talks a hundred mile per minute but says nothing at all of importance. I barely approach her with a question, instead ask other colleagues because of the way she over explains everything thus taking a century to get to the point. Even just casual non-work related talk is just her oversharing things at an unnecessarily high decibel, I have to put earphones on to concentrate and keep calm or else I’d have to endure the noise. This is ofc uncomfortable bc i can’t be wearing them for more than an hour. My other colleagues get along with her fine so im trying to avoid any conflict from my part. She is the only person I cannot stand and she’s pretty hard to avoid since our desks are so near and there’s no other place I can relocate. I actually liked her at the beginning becahse she was there to help me with work during my training, and was nice to talk with. Overtime another new hire came along and they grew close. If it adds more context, she’s pregnant atm and has been offensively rude to me at one point because of some late feedback from client rendering a revision on her part, but i was just the messenger who she had no right to act that way to. This woman has been stressing me out for the past few months and I don’t know what to do.
