TL;DR I wonder how many people would send me a dollar if enough do I'll start a business to employ as many as I can to livable and then some wages.
Hey everyone, I've been a part of this community for a while because I enjoy reading about other people sticking it to the boss and then bettering their life afterward. Well I would like to be the second part of that equation.
So, when I was a kid I was always curious what would happen if I sent everyone in the world a letter to send me a dollar how many dollars would I get? 5? 10? 1,000? 1,000,000? It was always just a day dream of mine. Something i would think about in the car watching all the other people around me. Now with the internet and things like venmo or cashapp I might actually be able to find out what would happen!
I've also had this idea for the last couple years of starting a business where I can employ many people of varying skill sets at livable wages. I dont want to make a billion dollars to have a billion dollars, I want to make a billion dollars to give a billion dollars. There are too many people in this world struggling when it's not necessary. I want to put food on the table for people, to pay for peoples rent for a year, to help foster kids find homes and families. This is what I'm working
I'm a truck driver and have ALOT of time to think and have thought maybe I can put the two together. If there are people here that are willing to send me a dollar I can put all that money towards starting this business and helping people.
If not no worries, I'm still working towards it anyways it'll just take longer.
I figured this sub is a good place to start since everyone is very passionate about livable wages and is kind of where this idea started.
To you it may be just one dollar, maybe you have that dollar to spare, maybe a lot of you have a dollar to spare, I don't know and I'm curious and I'm going to put it to a good cause.
