So last week my work had a Christmas party. I still had to work in the morning starting at 8am but our party started at 1. It took place at my work and it was just all of us getting together, eating, playing games, etc. it ended at 5pm and I stayed after to clean up. I put in my hours that day normally, 8-5. Today, my boss freaked out on my manager that I clocked in that day since it was our “Christmas party” and I didn’t work. Every other job I’ve had I had clocked in for any type of party we had. Was it wrong of me to clock in that day?
