I have a couple of colleagues who ended up working for Citibank and during the height of the pandemic they were allowed to work fully remote, and it was incredible. Productivity sword higher than ever before, and they were able to get so much more done, as well as working within their business hours, and not having to deal with the costs of a commute… Well now, anyone who is fully vaccinated must return on a hybrid schedule. Anyone who's not vaccinated obviously is at risk of being sick because they are much more susceptible, so they are not obligated to return at all. It's optional for them to return or not. But for people who are fully vaccinated, they have no choice whatsoever.
Screw this scumbag company and I hope no one ever goes to work for them again.
