I have a very kind, understanding and helpful personality and I have a colleague who is always gaslighting me. Every time I speak at team meetings, he says I've misunderstood, misrepresented things, etc.
The others don't back him up and many colleagues seem to have problems with him as well.
However, I don't know how to react, I have started to respond to him firmly and I avoid him as much as possible. But still, as he is the favorite of our boss I don't dare to talk to my boss about it. And as I know that the human resources don't give reason to the employees (they are afraid to lose their job too) I am hesitant.
What would you do in my place?
