Colorado Springs checking in. Did Starbucks close one of their stores here for union activity?

Hi! I tried googling it, but came up with nothing. Colorado Springs is still a relatively conservative area, so if it was a union-busting maneuver, I’m not surprised it wasn’t reported on. Starbucks opened a store in an urban renewal area less than two years ago. l just drove by there yesterday, and they’re closed. Windows boarded up and door padlocked. It must have happened fast— because, as far as I know, they were open and operating at the beginning of last week. I don’t go to Starbucks, but I’m curious. Companies who operate in urban renewal areas get certain benefits in Colorado, so it seems weird they shut down so suddenly. I know it’s a long shot, but does anybody who worked at that store visit this sub? Any employees who can confirm is it was shut down for union activity: take it to The Denver Post NOT The…
