Company christmas party/gift giving stories?

I've been reading and fascinated by the posts i've been seeing about employees being guilted or sometimes even required to attend and/or contribute towards company christmas events, secret santas, or having to help buy the boss a gift (absurd). I've never experienced any of this but for some reason I find it really interesting how employers are this gullible or inconsiderate. I would love to hear the stories you all have lol
