Got a notice today that managers will be expected to more strictly enforce the 3 day in-office required work schedule. 2021 was our company's most profitable year EVER. 2022 was not as good but we did very well. The CEO got almost $100M last year and will probably get something similar this year.
So… if the company is doing so well with people working 3 days or less in the office, why the hell would they force people to come in more? At this point, isn't it glaringly obvious that working in the office doesn't necessarily improve productivity? Somebody help me understand this.
