Company I just quit will pay minimum wage on my last paycheck. Anything I can do to stop this?

As the title says, I will be getting paid minimum wage on my final paycheck. I signed a paper agreeing to this when I was hired, but I've seen people say here that it may not be legal. I work in the state of Ohio. I know pay rate can change at any time per our state laws, but not for hours already worked, as I understand. I know it was wrong to walk out, but I could not take that place another minute. The environment is extremely toxic, and it was having an impact on my mental well being. We are told we aren't allowed to discuss our wages, which is illegal, but it is supposed to ensure we don't find out people working the same job are paid different rates. Higher pay is not given to more experienced, or even more capable, employees. It seems to be given to the ones who know how to kiss ass. When one ass kisser, who reported off monthly without consequence and loudly complained about basic tasks, making herself a pain in everyone else's ass, bragged about the raise she was given because she had “become such good friends” with one of the bosses, she knew there was nothing anyone could do because we would be scolded for discussing our pay. (And feel free to interpret what their “friendship” actually meant, because she left that part open to interpretation to those of us she was bragging to). Even though she was making $5 more per hour than I was, I was not going to get any raise any time soon. After the bragging incident, I found out many long term people were making the same as the day they started 5-10 years ago. And I've never heard of any previous employee getting unemployment benefits after being terminated, because they have a cute trick where they “take you off the schedule”, meaning they simply stop putting your name on the schedule, and that somehow protects them from rightfully paying people they have left jobless. I was a fool for signing my wages away, but there has to be something I can do to get the money I worked hard to earn. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it!
