company promised us time off in the summer as a reward. turned around and un-did it a week before it starts

So last year, my startup gave us summer Friday afternoons off. It was great, I didn't feel like I needed an edo for the rest of the year. The motivation was so we could enjoy summer Okay so this year we were set to do the same thing. They said at the start of this month that come July, we'd get half-days One week before june, they say that instead we can only take 2 hours off Friday. AND, we have to make up the hours on mon-thu But here's the kicker. We already handle time in lieu like this. If you work 8 hours overtime, yoy take 8 hours off at any point you want. You have 4 hours? Take a half day. Or take longer lunches. We already do this. My company basically said we're not doing it, but we're going to say we're doing it anyway
