Just found out we're now being forced to install an Authenticator app on our personal phone so that it can authenticate when we're trying to punch in and punch out on the company software.
This authenticator even requires us to approve
There's gotta be something else they have to provide, right? I know there's 0% chance they give a company device for it, but there's NO alternative apparently.
While I have often wondered about if I was fired and getting a new job because this one is such ass, I also can't afford the cut in pay. Which is already criminally low. Money is too tight.
Guess I just suck it up and comply like everyone else to install this shit and add the extra steps to my routine every day? Am I crazy for being upset about this? It's “not a big deal” it's a tiny app and takes 5-10 seconds extra. Nobody else is bothered enough to be vocal about it.
