So I got fired yesterday, I work in the service industry in CA so at will employment is in the contract that I signed when I was hired.
They stuck to a script and said “we are choosing to end our relationship at this point.” I kept asking what was the reason and why, if I did anything wrong, or if I was just a seasonal employee.. they stuck to the choosing to ‘end the relationship’ script.
Called HR today for a little bit of closure, but yet again, stuck to the script.
My question is; what should I put on the applications as to why I left the position?
