Lurker here, sorry if this lacks cogency, but I had a few thoughts:
Maybe the problem we have as a society is framing 'work time' as 'company time' instead of 'society's time'.
Why should we serve overlords who make money hand over fist from our labor merely because those people had sufficient capital to clear those cost-prohibitive barriers to entry to starting a company in the first place?
All this leads to is employees becoming burnt out wage slaves serving a kingdom system designed to keep money in royalty's company founders' pockets.
Furthermore, corporate culture literally gaslights citizens. Ever seen PizzaHut's ads for their $7 melts? 'The newest thing from PizzaHut that isn't pizza!' — except yes the fuck it is, it's just two slices of thin n' crispy pizza folded together for the same price as a medium pizza. I would know, I work there.
We went from kings & queens to bosses & proprietors. Same shit, different name.
Serfdom is alive and well, living under an alias. Rebranding something doesn't change its content.
