Compulsory unionization for all workplaces would solve many problems

Most of the problems I see can be resolved with workers unions and collective bargaining. A big impediment to this is employers hiring non-union / ignorant workers at the lowest possible cost they can get away with to increase their profit margins. If we enact compulsory unionization we massively empower all workers to have better working conditions, time off, etc. There can be no union busting and hiring cheap labor to replace people because those people would also be unionized. This would improve working conditions for everyone. And there would be a culture of high quality union work available across the board. I realize this is not without issues. But I think this is a good first step towards fully taking over the means of production etc.
