Conflicted…

Having had panic attacks from managers in the past, I’m really happy to say I really enjoyed my last job. I was comfortable; I liked who I worked with. I had a great set schedule. BUT my last job was a longer commute, overworking me, not respecting my time off, and had an uncertain future given that the parent company was bought out ( by the company that caused my panic attacks in the past). Essentially, they were treating me like management, responsibility wise, without paying me for management. So I sought out a promotion at another company and received it! After having started the other job, I think I might of made a mistake. This new job has a better salary, title, the commute is shorter too. BUT my last job was a longer commute, overworking me, not respecting my time off, and had an uncertain future given that the parent company was bought out ( by the company that caused my panic attacks in the past).

However, the schedule is absolutely horrible and I’m afraid, being newly married, I’m already loosing my work/life balance.

My old manager said I’m welcome back anytime and was their “ top performer”…

I don’t know what to do.
