Confused by a certain portion of the community that sees the exploitative capitalist acts we post about & responds with “every one of you would do the same thing if you could, though.”

I've been seeing things like this pretty regularly over the years. At first, I assumed it was people who are here to observe and to hate us, as opposed to people who agree with us.

But then I click on their profiles and they claim to be socialists, or leftists, or saying that being a billionaire should be illegal.

And yet, they have this mask off moment by admitting that if they could exploit others for their own gain & live a lavish lifestyle while employing others to do the backbreaking work for a low wage, they would. Huh?

What are you even doing here? Have you no principles? When you don't have much, you have your hand out and want more, but in the back of your mind, you know that if you could do it, you'd hoard and exploit others, too?

Then they get responses like “yep” and and “for real.” Uhh…if you'd do the same thing, you have absolutely no right to complain when someone does it to you, ya dolt.

I don't even know what to do about it, I'm just so annoyed at the gall and the hypocrisy. Idiots. Wish they'd form their own community, r/AntiWorkUntilIGetMineAndThenGoFuckYourself.
