Congress cannot and will not ever represent workers

“A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell, it establishes power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeois-democratic republic can shake it” – Lenin, State and Revolution. What Lenin describes here can be observed clearly in many recent and major US congressional decisions.

The concept being that the very structure of Congress and political process as a whole is specifically and intentionally designed to always represent the capitalist class interests above the workers REGARDLESS of who holds whatever amount of power.

Either party will always claim that they don't have the seats to push or block a certain bill, and it always happens to benefit the owning class. This is NOT an accident, and not NOT the fault of voters.

Both parties collaborate closely to ensure policies which benefit the rich are ALWAYS passed, and those which don't are hobbled, diluted, or scrapped.

When you accept the “lesser evil” option, you are accepting the status quo which degrades your personal interests regardless of who you vote for.

Both parties have expressed open willingness to endorse and even fund opposition candidates or shaft and smear their own when it maintains the equilibrium of not having to commit to any promises made to workers. Both accept hundreds of millions in political donations and often from the same donors.

Yes you can vote to influence petty or localised decisions, but as a worker you CANNOT and will NEVER be able to vote for a party that truly represents your interests because it is structurally impossible for you to do so.
