This is my first post on Reddit and I think this may be the right place.
Employees are wanting to boycott and strike due to obvious reasons in the current struggle of labor equality.
As a collective conscience of customers, can we stop going to places of economy on holidays, inclement weather, etc. to at least do our part for those employed in the market. Companies won’t make money on those days because there are no customers and the data will prove it, and data collection now is a companies bible on how to function.
•Example; There was recently a blizzard and Sonic drive through was completely full of customers making minimum paid people bare the -25F degree weather for a hamburger.
•Example; it is Christmas and I need to grab something but I’m refusing because it gives WalMrt a single piece of data proving they should force employees to work today.
My point is data provided by us is a chain that causes companies to have a foundation for executing decisive action upon their employees that does not seem to fit a notion of humanity.
Just a thought, thank you for reading and I hope you are thinking of your fellow folks. We are not square gears, we are real flesh, blood & bone and hope and love.
