I tested positive for covid on Wednesday of last week and so I called off the rest of the week. It’s 8:45 am and she calls me and says, “Are we going to see you this morning?” I said no because I was still feeling sick. Her response? “Well, it’s been 5 days. I’m concerned about all the work you have sitting on your desk isn’t getting done.” I told her I still wasn’t feeling well but that I will be there tomorrow. I could tell she was annoyed.
The thing is she knows my last day there is December 29th and this is what she’s worried about? She should be worried about hiring my replacement!
