I left my job about a year ago. They were talking about starting a weekend rotation that would change every month, working one day with one random day off during the week (not even giving us two days in a row).
I left after that because I knew what was coming. And I was right.
Increased productivity requirements. Demands to perform our jobs in ways that are not clinically appropriate or ethical. All around “do more with less” attitude with no raises in sight.
The last day for three of the employees there was Friday. Today, 3 more gave their notice, including the director of the department. Another one expected to give notice within the next two weeks. The entire department is falling apart in their only profitable facility in the state. Losing 6-7 staff out of a usual full-time roster of 12 will have massive ramifications.
You absolutely, 100%, love to see it
