Using a burner account for anonymity
I requested a reasonable accommodation through work to WFH. They sent me a 5 page, 20 question document for my doctor to fill out. He filled it out and sent it in. The answers from those questions has more than enough sufficient information to substantiate that I have an ADA disability and needs a reasonable accomodation. My HR rep just reached out to me now saying they have some “additional questions” for my doctor and asked me to fill out a HIPAA release form. Obviously am going to say no lol. Can they deny my request if I don't give them access to my medical history?
