Hello all! Just wanted to share this super awesome story from today. I work at a chain pool store that has a policy to NEVER accept a return on the acid and the chlorine shock. Under ANY circumstances (reasons being they are volatile chemicals that are very easy to turn into bombs/explosives lol) WELL today I had this lovely woman (/s) come in to return……pool shock and acid. I informed her of the policy, she called me every name under the sun and eventually left without her money. I’m sure you all know where this is going at this point. She called corporate and complained, my DM calls me and tells me that she is coming back in tomorrow and that I must give her money back and let her keep the product (since it is unsafe to bring back in the store at this point.) Mind you, this is $1000 worth of product. Which she now gets for free. 🥴🥴🥴 I was also instructed to disregard this policy if anything like this ever happens again. So basically, if you’re an asshole you can return whatever you want but if you’re a decent person unwilling to scream at retail workers you’re fucked. At least I can look forward to seeing this woman again tomorrow when she comes to get her money back from me! I’m tired yall
