Our new manager was kind of falling apart due to inadequate training from the GM. She was looking at the newspaper on Friday and saw an ad for her position at her store. this obviously really bothered her but unfortunately she chose not to show up the next day. she told me the morning of that she wouldn’t be at work and nobody else was on the schedule. i was on the schedule for a half-day shift and couldn’t cover her and close the store. so i had to close the store at the end of my half day shift. The GM then proceeded to fire her over text. I don’t think he’s happy with me either but hasn’t talked to me about it at all. Am i gonna get fired?
