Good day my fellow anti workers! Haven't had a raise since 2018ish and I'm pretty sure it's because my boss isn't actually fighting for one. I'd be willing to bet he makes a point not to bring it up to his boss based on how he responds to me asking about it. The last time it was “oh, I haven't heard anything about it” which makes me think it's because he hasn't done anything.
Just curious how you'd go about forcing the conversation. The company I work for is very much “don't go above your boss” but I see no other way of forcing this conversation without doing that.
Yes I know I need a new job but I might as well try and get what I can here first while I'm on the hunt.
