This is my first post please go easy on me. I work in the medical field we mostly see geriatric patients. Like everyone we are short staffed. I am new to this job less than three weeks in and my wonderful coworker was diagnosed with Covid Monday. She is the only one doing check out currently for a massive office (normal staff is 4) and was told that she needed to come back to work, even though she has not been fever free for even 24 hours and is showing a massive amount of symptoms. I have looked online to try and find some information to help her. Unfortunately, I seem to be very bad at it and cannot get a clear answer for 2023. We are in Florida if anybody knows what her current protections are they told her that if she does not come in, they will not pay her. Thank you for any and all information or help!
