Sorry if this feels more like a vent but I really need to speak about this.
I will never understand why some people are just actively hostile and try to find fault in everything people do. Why would someone just try to ruin your life for no reason at all? I just do my job and go home, why are you trying to make me look bad?
I hate seeing emails from this guy. If he can't find anything he'll thank you and move on but God forbid he sees a “mistake”. I give him what he asked AND something extra he can use and he just complains “Why didn't you send this earlier?”. I was working on it long before you cared…He could just kindly request me to let him know of such things when I get them but no, he can't help but make you feel terrible.
This isn't something that warrants anger either. I was already working on it, since he asked for something related I sent extra bit of info and that's it.
Do any of you have someone like this at work? How do you deal with them?
